Pair A Dice Games Corner

October 2025

Coming together again, designer Manny Vega and artist Sandara Tang have brewed up a particularly spooky game just in time for the spooky month with Tea Witches.

The game is a nice mix between push your luck and worker placement. You begin summoning witches to your tea hut to see what customers you will need to serve. But be careful, your summoning will fail if two witches from the same coven show up.

Now it is time to serve these witches. To do so, you will use your Teapups to go into town and collect tea from the magically infinite tea fountain. They will also collect ingredients for your teas, like boba bugs, sweet teeth, and eye cubes, for your customers who want their tea their way.

Broken up into different sections, the town allows you to do so much to prove your tea hut is the best there is during the Teaquinox Faire. You can serve the Celebri-Teas in the hopes that they stay as loyal customers till the end. Buy upgrades for your hut to store tea over the days, or collect to-go orders and serve them.

In the end, all your actions work together to build your tea hut and make it the best in town. Scoring points for your loyal customers, the improvements to your shop, and all of your to-go orders you have completed, Tea Witches proves to be a game with some teeth.

If you found Manny's first game, Flamecraft, to be a bit too thin, Tea Witches is perfect for you. Sandara Tang's art is amazing, every card and location perfect and cute in its own way. Manny has hit it out of the park with Tea Witches.
