July 2025
July is here, and Edge of Eternities is just around the corner! Magic’s newest standard set is gearing up for its prerelease at the end of this month. The theme this time is Magic’s first take on a “space” themed set. Spoilers and story for the set should begin releasing soon, so keep an eye out for the newest cards.
As usual, we’ll be running three days' worth of events for this prerelease. Frida,y July 25th at 6:30 pm, marks the first event, with two more on July 26th at both Noon and 5:00 pm, as well as a final event on Sunday, the 27th at 2:00 pm. Coming with Edge of Eternities is also another rules change for the commander format; going forward, both legendary vehicles and legendary spacecraft will be allowed as commanders.
Edge of Eternities is also introducing shock lands (some of them at least) back into the standard format, which is sure to be exciting.
