November 2025
November marks the release of the newest Magic set, Avatar: The Last Airbender!
By the time you’re reading this, spoiler season is well underway! There’s definitely a lot of new spice in this set so far, I’m personally particular to Fire Lord Azula as a powerful Grixis “copy all my spells” style commander.
We’ll be holding prerelease for Avatar November 14th at 6:30p.m. and again on the 15th at Noon and 5:00p.m. Finally I’ll have one last event on the 16th at 2:00p.m.
Avatar features a variety of products this time around, in addition to the standard play boosters and collector boosters, there’s a completely unique set of Jumpstart decks. Additionally there’s products to help introduce players to magic as well, with an all new starter set as well as a commander starter set that’s packed with staples players need.
It feels like a set that the designers put a lot of love into to convey the source materials themes and characters. If you haven’t checked it out yet I highly recommend browsing the spoilers. That’s all for this month!
