Magic Minute- October 2025

October has come around, and this month is full of the new Spider-Man set as well as exciting new announcements for Magic as a whole. Every Friday this month, we’ll be holding a traditional draft for Spider-Man; this is notably different than the “pick-2” variant that is also being played with this set.

If you missed it, Magic-Con Atlanta made some interesting announcements for Magic's future sets. We got a lot of attention on Lorwyn Eclipsed, the set releasing in January of next year. I’ve always been a bit partial to the plane of Lorwyn, so I’m thrilled we’re going back! Tons of art, as well as card spoilers, were released, so I encourage you to go check it out. 

Other than that, the month is shaping up to be a bit slower for October. Around the end of the month, we should start seeing spoilers for Avatar: The Last Airbender pop up, but the big announcements have already been made. That’s all for this month!
