It's Gonna Be May!

May is shaping up to be a wild month full of store championships. Nearly every week, we have a store championship going on. Let's dive in.

We kick off our month of events with a double-header on Saturday, May 10th. We are hosting our first Star Wars: Shatterpoint tournament! Starting at 10 am, you can either bring two squads or a premier list of your preference, as well as everything you need to play a game of Shatterpoint. You can sign up early here. 

This day, May 10th, will also be our first Heroscape tournament! Starting at 10 am, players can compete to be the store champion for Heroscape. Bring a 500-point army, some terrain, and everything else you need to play! We are looking forward to supporting both of these communities in the future!

On May 17th, we will be hosting our store championship for the Lorcana set, Archazia's Island. This will be a five-round tournament starting at Noon. Prizes will be promos, store credit and a playmat for top performers. 

We round off May with two more store championships on May 24th. Altered was released at the end of 2024 and we have been loving the game in store. This is our first "Tumult" championship for the Trial by Frost set. Prizes will be promo cards and a playmat for the champion.

May 24th will also be our Tarkir: Dragonstorm store championship. This is a standard tournament with promos going out to everyone that participates, top 8, and a unique promo for the winner. Both of these events start at 1 pm, so please show up early to register for these events.

That is all we have for May. June is looking to be a huge month for events, especially with Magic: The Gathering and the release of the Final Fantasy Set, so keep an eye on our socials for those events coming. Until next month!
