Welcome Back to Pair A Dice Games! Have a great year!

Do you feel like the summer just disappeared? That is because you spent the summer with us at Pair A Dice Games! Now we are ready to return to school and give you the best events to spend your weekends and evening with us!

We don't have any events in store on the first weekend of the month. But we will be at Es Con! Es Con is a local board game convention in Escondido that we have been sponsoring for several years now. This year we are expanding our presence at Es Con with demos! Make sure to drop by Es Con to check it out.

The world of Middle-Earth returns to Magic the Gathering with The Hobbit! This is on the most anticipated Magic set of the year! Prerelease starts on Friday, August 7th with a four events over the weekend, one on Friday, two on Saturday August 8th, and our last one on August 8th. Booster boxes and other product will be available from prerelease weekend and on. Friday, August 14th will be our first draft of The Hobbit and if you play in our prerelease events, you could win a booster box of The Hobbit!

In addition to prerelease and release weekend, through out the month we will have additional special Magic events with Hobbit promos and more. On August 18th, we are hosting An Unexpected Crafting Special Magic the Gathering Learn to Play Event! If you have someone you have wanted to teach the game to, no matter the age, this is the perfect event for you! $8 gets you a welcome deck, booster pack of The Hobbit, a deck you can customize, and some special tokens. This will be a great family event, so you don't want to miss out.

We will also have a couple of special events on our Tuesday Commander Nights. August 18th our commander players can play a special Two-Headed Giant rule set during their games and receive a special promo! August 25th will be a Commander Party in store. Sign up via the Companion App the night of and we receive promos.

Heroscape returns to the store with a quarterly tournament on August 15th. You can sign up for the event today here.

We round off the month with our first Summoner Skirmish for the newest Riftbound Set, Vendetta. All participants will receive a promo, with the winner receiving a round one bye at a regional qualifier!
