November 2026

November is here and with it the release of Magic’s Newest set: Star Trek!

The mechanics being focused on this set are quite interesting. I particularly like the focus on modal spells and its archetype, but there’s also an emphasis on artifact creature synergy with the Borg. Additionally there’s two new mechanics “Strange new Worlds” which is a mechanic that cares about the number of differently named lands you control, and “Federation” which cares about the diversity of your creature types. We’ll be holding prereleases for this set starting on November 6th at 6:30, and continuing on November 7th at 12:00 and 5:00, as well as November 8th at 2:00.

On prerelease everything product wise should be available (There have been some delays on certain products in the past however) so if you’re interested in collector boosters I’d show up that weekend to secure them!

In addition to prerelease we’ll also be holding a new type of event for us Sealed League a weekly recurring event starting on Saturday the 14th. Sealed league is similar to sealed except you keep your deck week to week and add to it with provided packs over the course of the leagues duration. There’s even a special promo Solemn simulacrum for returning players.

That’s all for this month! I hope to see you all around for the release of Star Trek!
