Wrapping up August, let’s take a look at what’s to come for TCG’s at Pair A Dice Games for the month of September. 

Magic: The Gathering - The Hobbit has officially released, and we had a wonderful turnout for our prerelease events with some amazing cards pulled. While prerelease is over, there’s plenty more of The Hobbit to come. 

Drafts for The Hobbit will be held Fridays at 6:30 pm and standard fires Saturdays at 7 pm. Which side will you play on? Will you wield the One Ring and control all of Middle-Earth? Only the packs will tell. 

In the world of Riftbound, Vendetta is here! Our pre-rift events went spectacularly, with many an overnumber pulled. This set follows pairs of characters that have deep, lore-based rivalries with one another. The introduction of two new mechanics, Flow and Empower, has shaken up the format with some new play styles. Flow lets you replay cards from your discard pile at a cost, and Empower lets you pay a cost to empower a card, which usually grants some sort of buff or ability. 

Our Nexus nights are Mondays at 6 pm. We have a Summoner Skirmish coming up on September 19th at 11 am.

In Lorcana news, Attack of the Vine is here, and this set has been 100% organic panic. This set remains immensely popular, and we’re excited to host the set champions on September 5th at 11 am. 

But we can't leave September without talking about Fractured Reality, the next set for Magic the Gathering. The prerelease will be held on the last weekend of the month, starting on Friday, September 25th. Fractured Reality has us exploring the world of Magic the Gathering 'what ifs' as Jace attempts to rewrite the universe as he likes it. There is a lot of excitement for this set and you don't want to miss out.
