Additionally, we’ll also be hosting another regional championship qualifier on April 1st. The format will also be Pioneer for this event, and this event will also be a “Last Chance” qualifier taking place on the final week of qualifications.

More information will be announced as we get closer to the end of the month. I hope any of you who are interested in pioneer will give it a shot and I can’t wait to see you all around this month!

New events are on their way to Pair A Dice! The upcoming season of mtg championships announced that the format will be Pioneer. Pioneer is a relatively new constructed format that allows all cards from Return to Ravnica and forward. Think of it as a more modern version of “Modern”. There have been some really interesting new decks cropping up and I personally think the format is much more open to experimentation than modern.

Starting every Sunday at 1:00 we’ll be hosting a Pioneer tournament. There’ll be a $9.00 buy in and each match win will score you a set booster or store credit!
