October 2023

October is just around the corner and we’ve got some special events for you. Universes Beyond: Doctor Who is a new series of four commander decks three of them are based around the various Doctors throughout the history of the show and one deck is centered around the villains the doctor faces.

In addition, there will be Collector Boosters for this Commander release, so you can try and get foil versions of your favorite cards from the set!

There are lots of returning mechanics from the history of magic as well as a new mechanic “Time Travel” that manipulates suspend counters on permanents. The set is also designed with new plane chase cards as well, and every deck strongly supports the plane chase theme.

There’s a special FNM coming up on October 27th, the two-headed giant harvest tide. This format will be a 2v2 sealed experience, with a shared pool of 4 Midnight Hunt and 4 Crimson Vow boosters for each player. We’ll also be giving out a free collector booster from Midnight Hunt to each player as well while supplies last.
