We've got our eyes on this set.

This September marks another release for Standard, Duskmourn! Duskmourn takes us on a plane that is entirely made of a giant living horror house.

It’s a new horror-based plane that looks very promising. Different sections of the “house” are differently themed allowing it to play on the many different aspects of the horror genre. This plane is also more technologically advanced similar to the Kamigawa Neon Dynasty, however, most technology is powered by souls rather than magic.

September 2nd is when spoilers begin for the set, but we have already seen some of the mechanics so far. Enchantment creatures and Leylines are returning, so the set is looking to be very enchantment-focused from what they’ve shown us so far.

Prerelease for this set begins towards the end of the month. Friday, September 20th at 6:30 is the first event for DuskMourn, followed by two events on September 21st at 12:00 and 5:00, and a third final event on Sunday, September 22nd at 2:00. Standard will be very happy to have another set after we’ve just had rotation, and they’ve already shown some pretty impressive cards so far.
