A New Year With Pair A Dice Games

Time moves on ever present. And we at Pair A Dice Games move on with it. 2026 is shaping up to be an eventful year with January being jampacked with events. Let's check them out.

Starting off the month events strong with our Lorcana Set Championship for Whispers In The Well on January 3rd. Start time at Noon, we are expecting five rounds of play before a top cut. You can sign-up now via our website here.

On January 10th we will be hosting an Arkham Horror LCG Epic Multiplayer event for Machinations Through Time. This will have up to 12 players working together in the past, the present, and the future, to ensure that the world doesn't end. Bring a deck, a copy of Machinations Through Time, and everything else you need to play the game. 

Magic the Gathering is releasing its newest set, Lorwyn Eclipsed this month. This is a return to one of the most popular sets in Magic's history, Lorwyn for the first time since 2006. We start with prerelease weekend events on Friday January 16th, Saturday January 17th, and Sunday January 18th. This events will be sealed events, with each player receiving a prerelease kit. Everything will be available to purchase for prerelease weekend.

Release weekend for Lorwyn follows one week later with two draft events, Friday January 23rd, and Saturday January 24th. If you play in a release event and played in any of our prerelease weekend events, you could win a play booster box of Lorwyn Eclipsed.

January 24th will also be our Mighty Monthly Marvel Meetup. Bring a deck and play together to defeat the villains.

Warhammer 40k is back! Our game champion was out sick for the end of 2025, but they are excited to get back to running events. This event will be on Saturday, January 31st. Start time will be at 1030 AM. Mission information will be annoucced soon.
